Welcome to the Timeline and interactive archive of 20th century American Women of Architecture. The Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation's mission is to expand knowledge and recognition of women's contribution to architecture as broadly defined to include landscape design, interior design, urban design, etc. The Timeline is the first stage of an overall attempt to celebrate the names, biographies, and work of women who have contributed to the development of architecture in the United States in the 20th century.
